We were excited to spot news of several rare Paracheilinus hemitaeniatus heading to the UK this morning. The half-banded flasher wrasse is an elusive species that is rarely seen in the UK hobby. Hailing only from Madagascar and a few locations in South Africa, this species is highly coveted and likely to command an eye-watering price tag to match. The shipment is due to arrive soon and is rumoured to contain several specimens including large super-males. We’ll be watching closely to see where these stunning fish land and aim to bring you more information as it becomes available.
