We were thrilled to be exclusively informed that this extremely unusual aberrant form of Centropyge bispinosa is imminently headed to UK shores in a first for the UK reef-keeping hobby.
While further detail is scant at this stage, we already know the fish was collected by Philippine-based RVS Fishworld Inc, and imported into the UK by Aqualogy.
While orange specimens of this species have been collected on rare occasion in recent years, there’s no denying this is one unique fish that is sure to create a stir in coming days as the fish finds a new temporary home at Leeds-based Radical Aquatics.
We’ll be sure to keep a close eye on this stunning rarity!
